Lichi (noun)
- lychee, lichee, litchi (a Chinese tree) bearing small round fruit with juicy white pulp.
Our name, Lichi, derives from the 16th-century Cantonese word for our locally grown lychee – lai chi.
'Lichi' represents our ethos of using local seasonal produce and our belief in the Chinese interpretation of Chi: 'to eat', 'life force' and 'the essence of existence that flows through each of us, uniting the body, mind and spirit'.
